Spring Break in the 4-0-5

By Marcus Elwell / Lifestyle / February 27, 2024

As the temperature starts to creep up and the leaves on the trees start to bloom, that can only mean one thing - Spring is just around the corner. Spring also means Spring Break at school districts all around OKC. If you want the kids to take a break from their Switches and YouTube, why don’t you introduce them to our community through our amazing attractions that put on special Spring Break camps and events? Below is a small sampling of what is available:

  • Spring Break Camp at Science Museum Oklahoma – Spring Break camps will be a time of curiosity. Explore slimy stuff, rocks, geological wonders and even cool things that grow under a microscope.
  • Spring Break Camps at Oklahoma Children's Theatre – A weeklong performing arts camp that runs from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. each day, with aftercare available.
  • Spring Break FAMcamps – Learn about First American arts, cultures and science at FAM. Students of all backgrounds are invited to participate in sessions led by educators and culture bearers.
  • Camp Contemporary at Oklahoma Contemporary – The beloved series returns with five creative camp options each week for your kiddos (ages 5-12). Each camp is limited to 15 or fewer campers and is led by a trained local artist and a studio assistant.
