Stress-free transit

While Oklahoma City boasts some of the lowest commute times among major metros in the country, that doesn’t mean you have to have a car to traverse our community’s 620-square miles. EMBARK helps OKC residents get where they need to go through public transit and they offer many ways to get around.
- Bus service- Oklahoma City’s bus system was honored in 2016 as North America’s Outstanding Public Transit System. Service runs seven days a week. You can check out a route map here.
- Oklahoma City Streetcar- If you need to get around downtown and its adjacent districts there is no better option than the OKC Streetcar for a quick jaunt. Like the bus, service runs seven days a week.
- EMBARK Plus- This great program provides public transit for individuals who have trouble accessing other public transit options due to medical reasons. To participate in this program a rider must complete the application process. You can find more info on how to do that at the link above.
- Spokies Bike Share- Spokies is Oklahoma City’s only bike share program, and the best way to cruise around downtown and through many of the city’s most exciting neighborhoods. With bikes available at eight stations and several pricing packages, it’s easy to start your ride immediately.
- Ferry Transit- Public transit isn’t just confined to the roads in Oklahoma City. EMBARK provides a ferry system that lets you move about the city via the Oklahoma River.
As you can see there are a lot of great (and easy) ways to get around Oklahoma City. We recommend downloading the EMBARK Mobile Fare app to buy your tickets and get more information about what EMBARK has to offer.
