Time for an OU Medicine Fall Music Festival update

Downtowners, it's that time of the week again! Are you looking for live music to go along with your lunch? Like food trucks but hate listening to the relentless sound of whirring generators? Just want to get out of the office or classroom and enjoy some time outside with friendly people? Heck, you may even want to dance a bit-- you know, just to aid the digestion, not at all to try to impress that special casual acquaintance or whatever that you think deep down inside just might dig your midday moves--that's cool, we won't judge. If the answer to any of the above is "yes," hit up the OU Medicine Fall Music Festival, held every Wednesday on campus downtown from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Scheduled food trucks for Sept. 26: The Saucee Sililian, Blue Donkey Cafe, Taco Addict, Smokin' Oakies, Let's Do Greek, Mutt's Amazing Hot Dogs & Burgers, Taste of Soul and Parking Lot Party. Music by Sulley & Sisson (classic rock and country).
OKC's favorite live acts and food trucks will enliven your formerly rather boring lunches in September at Sacred Valley Park (Phillips/Children's Avenue and Stanton L. Young Boulevard--just east of Lincoln between 10th and 13th Streets, or south of the Presbyterian Professional Building and north of the Service Center Building). Just to keep you on your toes and for a nice change of scenery, the fun moves for October to the Bird Library patio (Stonewall Avenue just north of 10th Street).
BONUS: You'll never run out of things to try and to hear, as food truck options and music will vary from week to week, so there will always be something pleasing to your palate (and your eardrums, for that matter).
Watch @OUMedicine on Twitter and OU Medicine on Facebook for more info and updates. We'll see you there (as soon as we finish our lessons)!
