Two OKC night markets nominated for best in the U.S.; public voting underway

Oklahoma City is earning national recognition for its growing event scene, with two local markets nominated for Best Night Market in the USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.
The Night Market at Scissortail Park and the Asian Night Market Festival are both in the running, placing OKC on a national list that highlights standout markets across the country for their food, vendors and overall experience.
The dual nomination is notable, especially as Oklahoma City competes alongside larger metro areas. It reflects the city’s continued growth in hosting events that bring people together while supporting local businesses and showcasing OKC’s cultural diversity.
The Scissortail Park Night Market offers a recurring downtown experience with food trucks, live music and local vendors, while the Asian Night Market Festival highlights global cuisine and performances in the city’s Asian District. Together, they represent different sides of Oklahoma City’s event landscape, from casual community gatherings to large-scale cultural celebrations.
Voting is open now through April 13, with winners announced April 22.
Residents can vote once per day at the official 10Best ballot here.
Casting a vote for both markets is a simple way to support local events and help elevate Oklahoma City’s presence on a national stage.
