Warr Acres Hosts Multicultural Festival

The City of Warr Acres is hosting its first annual Multicultural Festival June 3 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Warr Acres Mayor Roger Godwin, an avid traveler, created the festival to give metro residents the opportunity to experience different cultures from around the world.

The free event features food, fashion and dance and musical performances from 25 different countries such as Mexico, Greece, Peru, Guatemala, Turkey, Spain and more. The family friendly festival also includes face painting, bounce houses, touch-a-truck and educational exhibits.

The festival’s impressive food truck lineup includes Turkish Delight, Brasco’s Chicken & Waffles, Maria’s Venezuelan & Colombian Food, Porkaholics BBQ and more.

The Warr Acres Multicultural Festival is being held at the Cantera Event Center, 3701 N MacArthur Blvd. in Warr Acres.
