Businesses: Apply to be a technical assistance vendor for the OKC SBCP coronavirus relief

Looking for a new revenue stream or client? Local subject-matter experts are needed to help businesses affected by the pandemic. Chamber members and other local businesses can respond to the Alliance's RFQs and get paid to help fellow businesses in OKC.
Part of the OKC Small Business Continuity Program created in response to the challenges of the pandemic, the city's Small Business Technical Assistance Program provides qualified small businesses with the services of local subject-matter experts from a pre-qualified pool for technical assistance services including but not limited to the following:
- Assisting businesses in establishing sound accounting and bookkeeping practices, maintenance of financial records, or tax preparation to set them up for future success. (Note: this does not include paying a client’s back taxes)
- Marketing and website development, and creation of marketing assets to help business owners promote their products and tell their story.
- Legal assistance, managing compliance, creation of relevant agreements and contracts, or help with HR and employment best practices.
- Strategy and operations consulting to increase profitability and improve business efficiency.
In addition, the Oklahoma City Rescue Program supports façade improvements and other exterior building improvements for some affected businesses. The improvements have a $30,000 cap and will be reimbursed to the small business owner after submission of paid invoice. Some of these services may require engineering/architectural services. Small business owners may also apply for technical assistance help. The Alliance would like to select a pool of qualified professionals to provide engineering/architectural services based on the needs of the individual businesses needing assistance. Consultants/firms responding to this RFQ may propose to provide one or more of the services listed below and/or other related services:
- Architectural
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical/Plumbing Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Structural Engineering
- Topographical Survey
Check out the RFQ page on the Alliance website for more information about adding your business to the mix for these programs.
