Chamber Member Lippert Brothers celebrates 100 years of operations as a leading construction management and general contracting company in Oklahoma City. Some of their notable projects include the original National Cowboy Hall of Fame, Glass House Restaurant in Vinita, Citizen’s Bank Tower, Myriad Garden’s Crystal Bridge, the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum, Love’s Corporate Office Building, and a remodel of the United Way of Central Oklahoma Headquarters. Their work touches nearly every part of our city.

Family values, investment in people along with attention to client satisfaction have been at the core of Lippert Bros., Inc. In 1920 at the young ages of 27 and 20, respectively, Walter and Erick Lippert founded the company in Boone Iowa. In subsequent years, three other brothers Louis, Reuben and Leo also joined the company. They began with small residential and store remodeling projects but continued to grow the business and eventually moved to Oklahoma City after completing several successful projects at Tinker Air Force Base. After serving in the Navy and completion of their college education, Donald “Don” and Robert “Bob” joined their father Erick in the business.

Since their beginning in 1920, Lippert Bros., Inc. has completed more than 560 major projects in ten states.

Lippert Bros., Inc. has always focused on family values and relationships with everyone they work with including employees, clients, architects, and subcontractors. This focus continues with the third generation of Lippert leadership: Rick Lippert, Chairman Emeritus; Tom Lippert, President; Joel Lippert, Vice President; and John Lippert, President of Globe Construction. As members of the fourth generation join the team of experienced professionals, the company is positioned to continue providing quality construction services for many years to come.

“I hope the company maintains its core values and the importance of relationships and hard work into the next century,” said Tom.

Lippert Bros., will celebrate their 100-year milestone at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. “We look forward to celebrating with and honoring those who helped us reach this milestone,” said Tom.
