City Care's FAQ Series aims to address myths via video

There's a lot of information, and unfortunately oftentimes misinformation, surrounding topics like childhood trauma, early education, the criminal justice system, justice-involved individuals, homelessness, and substance use disorder, but would you know where to look when questions about these issues pop up from time to time?

In an effort to debunk some of the myths about poverty and those who are plagued by it, the team at the local nonprofit organization and Chamber member City Care has created a short FAQ series meant to address exactly these types of questions.

City Care inspires those willing to look social injustice and extreme poverty in the face and empowers them to do whatever it takes to create change. Through homeless services, permanent supportive housing, and character-based and literacy-focused tutoring, they witness remarkable stories of transformation.

City Care will be rolling out these videos on their Instagram page over the next three weeks, but the videos will also live permanently on their website at citycareokc.org/FAQ.
