DRG to host Service to Civilian program

By Staff Reports / Member News / October 19, 2021

Chamber member Delaware Resource Group of Oklahoma, LLC will host a special program on Oct. 26 to offer career support and assistance for veterans and their families.

The Service to Civilian event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Oklahoma Fidelity Bank Club in the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, 2 S. Mickey Mantle Dr., in Oklahoma City. Attendance is free and includes lunch and helpful take home materials, however RSVP is required. To RSVP, go to https://drgproservices.com/event/service-to-civilian.

Veterans and soon-to-be transitioning servicemembers and their families are invited to attend the special program focused on job readiness, life after service, interview prep, dress for success and more. Corporate recruiters and other professionals will be in attendance for one-on-one advice and additional guidance. In addition, gently worn dress for success clothing options will be available to peruse and take home after the program.

“Veterans sacrifice so much for our country. It is important we give back to them,” said Lacy Blanton, director of Professional Services and Recruiting for DRG. “One way we can do that is to support them and supply them with the best information to help them further their career.”

Supporting the warfighter is important to Oklahoma City-based DRG, a leading global training service contractor specializing in the aerospace defense industry. Nearly 60% of DRG’s more than 850 employees are veterans. DRG Professional Services is a division of DRG, which was founded in 2002 and is owned and operated by the Busey family.
