MidFirst Bank donates $55,000 to Palomar’s Children’s Sanctuary

Greater OKC Chamber member MidFirst Bank, a privately owned financial institution based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, recently presented a $55,000 check to Chamber member Palomar: Oklahoma City's Family Justice Center. With 38 agencies under one roof, Palomar offers invaluable services to victims of domestic violence, stalking, harassment, child abuse, elder abuse, and sexual assault. Their goal is to offer victims and survivors in Oklahoma City a safe haven where clients and their children come first as they work through their healing process.
MidFirst Bank’s gift will directly support Palomar’s Children’s Sanctuary. Here, families receive one-on-one mentoring, targeted assessments and referrals, and extensive emotional support. The sanctuary also offers programs such as the Halo Project, which helps adults overcome their own painful pasts so they can be free to be the caregivers, spouses and friends they desire to be.
"MidFirst Bank’s generous donation will help thousands of children find hope, healing and comfort in our Children’s Sanctuary. Palomar is so grateful for this thoughtful gift and we look forward to changing lives together," says Kim Garrett, Founder and CVO.
“Palomar’s efforts are positively impacting Oklahoma families by providing support, resources, and protection for victims in our community,” says MidFirst Bank Chairman and CEO, Jeff Records. “MidFirst Bank is pleased to play a role in this invaluable initiative.”
