MLSOK Inc. donates $42,250 to Oklahoma Housing Foundation

MLSOK Inc., a subsidiary of the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Association of Realtors (OKCMAR), donated $42,250 to the Oklahoma Housing Foundation.

The Oklahoma Housing Foundation, which is run by the Oklahoma Association of Realtors (OAR), serves as an online resource connecting Oklahomans in crisis with housing solutions. The foundation creates partnerships with community outreach organizations and empowers Realtors across the state to meet the needs of their communities.

“I am proud to be a part of an organization making significant contributions to help people in their most trying times,” said 2021 MLSOK President Monty Strickland. “We appreciate the mission of the Oklahoma Housing Foundation and thank them for all that they do.”

2020 MLSOK President Jeff Langum said supporting the community is important to Realtors.

“Funding the Oklahoma Housing Foundation means our neighbors will have somewhere to turn when they suffer a tragedy and when natural disasters strike,” Langum said. “This is a critical way to protect our communities.”

The Oklahoma Housing Foundation operates based on donations, partnerships with local Realtor associations and proceeds from the state’s Realtor license plate.
