The annual Chuck Wagon Festival is almost here
Long before OKC had its fantastic food truck scene, it had something similar, yet different—it had chuck wagons. And for the local interested in trying a more rustic taste of OKC, good news! The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum’s annual Chuck Wagon Festival is right around the corner, May 25-26. There will be chuck wagon food samples, butter making, artisan demonstrations, bandanna decorating, live music, rope making, Western reenactors, face painting, crafts, photo opportunities, dress up and more.
Admission is purchased at the door and $15 per person, or free for museum members and children 12 and under.
You can learn more on the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum’s website.
