UnitedHealthcare names Mallory Van Horn as CEO

Chamber member, UnitedHealthcare has named Mallory Van Horn as its new CEO for the community and state health plan for Oklahoma.

“It is an honor to lead a team that works closely with state and tribal partners, health centers, providers and community-based organizations to help improve the health of the communities and members that we are privileged to serve,” said Van Horn.

 

Van Horn spent 15 years with the parent company, UnitedHealth Group, gaining experience in health plan operations, managed care, quality improvement and regulatory compliance across Medicaid and Medicare businesses.

Prior to her time with the UnitedHealth Group, Van Horn spent several years working various roles in the Oklahoma governor’s office, as well as leading quality data and reporting initiatives for Oklahoma and Florida state Medicaid programs.

Van Horn holds master’s degrees in public health and business administration from the University of Oklahoma, as well as a bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College.
