The National Trust for Historic Preservation’s African American Cultural Heritage Black Action Fund received more than 500 proposals, which were then narrowed to 58 full proposals before choosing the final 27 recipients.

The Oklahoma City Convention Center is expected to be complete this fall. Events at the new venue are booked into 2024.
