The Greater OKC Chamber has relaunched the Stand Tall, Shop Small campaign to encourage Oklahoma City residents to take pride in their community and rally together to support small businesses. Here’s the first in a series of spotlights on some of OKC’s districts. This one features Automobile Alley’s unique opportunities for retail, food, and fun.

As things appear to be returning to some sense of normalcy across Oklahoma City this summer, the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber is encouraging residents to take pride in their community and rally together to help OKC small businesses re-emerge out of the pandemic.

The Half more than halfway complete as two more anchors set to begin operations

As Dolese begins to move to their new headquarters and Flix Brewhouse eyes ramping up operations, the team behind The Half estimates the development is a little more than halfway to completion. The unique mixed-use project is just east of I-235 between Wilshire and Britton--and about the same distance from downtown OKC and Edmond.

OKC retail market poised for a strong post-pandemic rebound

Just like in many communities across our state and nation, the pandemic has also taken its toll on Oklahoma City’s retail industry over the past 12 months, even forcing many businesses to shut their doors for good. But as springtime rolls on and summer beckons, the industry seems to be making a rebound, especially as COVID numbers decrease, restrictions soften and more people get vaccinated.

'The Nova' redevelopment coming to Automobile Alley

Developers for The Nova, a mixed-use project in Automobile Alley, have submitted plans to the Downtown Design Review Committee to redevelop three total buildings with frontages on NW 6th and NW 7th Streets directly adjacent to the BNSF railroad tracks.
