Construction crews on the Omni Hotel in downtown Oklahoma City have completed the building’s structural framework, and the finishing touches are all that remain for the 17-story, 605-room hotel.
Chamber member Homeland, the Greater OKC Chamber and the Alliance for Economic Development will break ground for a new full-service grocery store at a site which will eventually also be home to a MAPS 3 senior wellness center.

Construction on the American Cancer Society’s Chad Richison Hope Lodge is slated to start in February in the Innovation District. The Lodge will provide free lodging and transportation to patients and their caregiver.
Some OKC retail centers are using planned outdoor spaces and other amenities to lure shoppers.
The new building will provide locker rooms and workout space for several sports’ athletes. This is the first phase in a two-part athletics addition on the campus.
City officials will have the keys to the new expansive OKC Convention Center by December.
The new Girls Scouts camp in the Adventure District has a focus on teaching science, technology, engineering and math skills. The camp can also be rented for private events.
