Each year, Oklahoma City hosts Bike to Work Day, which originated from the League of American Bicyclists in 1956 as part of Bike-to-Work Week. Join members of our community on Friday, May 21st from 7 AM-9 AM in Bicentennial Park for complimentary coffee and celebration.

Federal Judicial Learning Center and Museum promotes civics education in OKC; Machine Gun Kelly exhibit soon to open

The free Federal Judicial Learning Center and Museum has been around for just over 6 years and began as a legacy project led by Judge Vicki Miles-LaGrange. According to the learning center’s executive director Leigh Dudley, "The Federal Judicial Learning Center & Museum offers an interactive experience that promotes an understanding of the federal court system and how 'The Rule of Law Keeps Us Free.'"

Future of rapid transit in OKC metro one step closer following bill passage

Commuter rail service in the Oklahoma City metro is one step closer to becoming reality following passage of Chamber-supported legislation that grants limited tort liability protections for any future commercial operator of the rail line. The measure, Senate Bill 967, was recently signed by Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt and will become law on Nov. 1, 2021.
