A new film construction accreditation course is being offered through a a collaborative effort that includes Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC), Prairie Surf Media, Film Education Institute of Oklahoma (FEIO) and Work Ready Oklahoma (WRO).

Oklahoma City was ranked as more affordable than every other city on the list due to its relatively low housing costs and overall cost of living. The site’s evaluations came from a metric system, which graded cities on a 100-point scale – 100 representing the best possible score. With each of the four included categories representing 25% of the overall grade, the site then broke each category down into specific qualities.

Oklahoma City University, Oklahoma Christian University, Oklahoma Baptist University, Oklahoma State University and The University of Oklahoma have been named as top colleges by The Princeton Review.
Oklahoma City Public Schools’ Northwest Classen High School (NW Classen) inducted its fourth Order of the Round Table class into the school’s Hall of Fame on Friday, Nov. 11, during a ceremony spearheaded by The Friends of Northwest Classen.
The $955-million school bond will impact every one of OKCPS’s 66 schools and all its students by providing much-needed resources to improve buildings, technology, transportation and sorely needed capital improvement projects.
ReadOKC offers reading challenges for students during school breaks with a goal for every student to read 20 minutes per day and to improve access to reading materials for all children. The program recruits adults to serve as reading buddies.
