The fourth event focused on the implementation of DEI programming and featured Charlene Thomas, Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer at UPS.
July 21st’s Chamber Forum event will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Vast, and will feature Lt. Gen. Donald E. “Gene” Kirkland, commander of the Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker Air Force Base.

January’s event welcomed keynote speaker, Angie Christopher to share her expertise in diversity and inclusion in relation to the hiring process.
The final event in the Creating a Culture of Inclusion series, presented by the Urban League of Greater Oklahoma City and the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber, will focus on diverse talent pipelines on June 29 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. via Zoom.
InternOKC, a program created by the Greater OKC Chamber to recruit and retain young talent in Oklahoma City, is less than two weeks away, but there is still time for employers to sign up their interns for this dynamic, annual event. The program provides soft skills enhancement and professional development opportunities to the region’s young professionals.
During the next online Chamber Forum on June 16, attendees will be provided with concrete guidance on how to become a second-chance employer.
