SpartanNash to hold OKC hiring event Oct. 23

SpartanNash is a value-added wholesale grocery distributor supplying more than 2,100 independent grocery retail locations throughout the United States as well as a grocery retailer, with more than 145 company-owned stores in nine states. They will be holding a "National Day of Hiring" event in OKC on October 23 from 9 to 11 a.m.

Build My Future OKC event looks to increase student interest in skilled trades

Build My Future OKC, a project of the Professional Women in Building Council of Chamber member Central Oklahoma Home Builders Association, will be held Oct. 26 and is a skilled trades career exploration day. The 2019 event help the council win the National Association of Home Builders' Best Council of the Year award for its division in 2020.

oNE OKC event aims to highlight history, awareness of N.E. Fourth St.

Booker T. Washington Park at N.E. Fourth St. and N. High Ave. will be the site for the sixth annual oNE OKC street festival, an event designed to engage the local community and attract people from throughout the OKC metro to visit northeast OKC. This year’s event will take place on May 15 from noon to 4 p.m.
