Throughout the month, the city will come alive with a wide array of performances, food and activities that highlight the different cultures present in the city.

Community meeting on Adventure District development

Business owners, residents and community organizers are invited to a key community meeting to explore the potential creation of new Tax Increment Financing (TIF) districts in and around the Adventure District. This session will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on August 6 at Millwood High School. The meeting intends to provide a detailed overview of TIF districts and solicit community feedback on the proposed plans aimed at boosting the area’s development and appeal.

Oklahoma Business Opportunity Conference on Advanced Manufacturing

The Oklahoma Business Opportunity Conference, themed “Advanced Manufacturing,” will connect Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) with corporations seeking procurement opportunities with diverse suppliers. Sponsored by OG&E Energy Corp., the one-day event, scheduled for July 25th, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., will feature networking sessions, roundtable discussions and a trade show, culminating in a 25th Anniversary reception.
