Street resurfacing, trails construction and resurfacing, sidewalk and bike lane construction are being funded by the 10-year bond and a $240 million temporary sales tax. Within the sales tax portion, Wenger said the city has completed about $35 million in street resurfacing, with another $50 million already in work expected to start in the next several months.
The OKC Schools Compact is raising $5 million to help fund mental health services and programs in the schools. The goal has not been met yet, but the school district has already started working on some programs while it waits on the money to be raised.
