Commemorative Plaza to Honor Oklahoma City’s Black History

The impact of Oklahoma City's Strong Neighborhoods Initiative

Residents around Oklahoma City are seeing their neighborhoods revitalized and enhanced thanks to the Strong Neighborhoods Initiative (SNI). SNI was developed by the City of Oklahoma City to offer a more comprehensive and coordinated approach to neighborhood revitalization. The program engages with neighbor¬hood residents and stakeholders to develop strategies, programs and partnerships that will address housing, infrastructure, placemaking, environmental, and socio-economic needs, along with attracting new residents and businesses.

Garden Oaks Community Center opens doors

The Garden Oaks Community Center has recently opened its doors, marking a significant milestone in the revitalization of northeast Oklahoma City. Oklahoma City receives highest possible bond ratings

Both Moody’s Investors Service and S&P Global Ratings have reaffirmed Oklahoma City's AAA bond rating for the 16th consecutive year. It is only one of 11 cities in the U.S. with a population of 690,000 or more to have AAA ratings.
