Early voting begins today, Dec 5, and continues on Friday, Dec. 6, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the county election board office in the county where you are registered to vote.
Many of the projects included in the MAPS 4 proposal deal with human needs, health and quality of life.
As Election Day for MAPS 4 approaches, now is the time to make plans to vote.
The Better Streets, Safer City initiative was approved by voters a little more than two years ago.
On the weekends, as part of Downtown In December celebrations, residents can ride the OKC Streetcar for free. The offer runs until Jan. 5. In Norman, residents can also ride the city’s bus for free as they get used to the services offered by EMBARK, which is now operating Norman’s fixed-route bus service and para transit service.
Horse shows bring in an average of 836,000 people annually, with those visitors spending in excess of $180 million on hotel rooms, restaurants, and in local stores.
