After what we’ll freely admit was a bit of a bummer of a 4th of July 2020, live Independence Day events to celebrate freedom are back all over the OKC area. That includes Bricktown’s 4th of July celebration on – you guessed it – Sunday, July 4th.

No matter your age, there are few team experiences quite like rowing, dragon boating and whitewater rafting. Not only do you learn about teamwork, accomplishing goals and camaraderie, but there’s just something about the power of a paddle or oar in your hand to connect you with both the water and your teammates that’s hard to replicate in other sports or disciplines (not to mention it’s good to have something in hand with which to defend yourself from any angry errant geese that cross your path, but maybe that’s just us).
