OKC Latino Accelerator offers assistance in scaling business

The OKC Latino Accelerator offers local entrepreneurs an opportunity to receive funding and assistance in building up their business. A $15,000 non-dilutive grant, working space at the Oklahoma City Thunder Launchpad and mentorship from industry experts will be awarded to the program’s selected participants.

The new Boiling Point Media studio provides the city’s growing film industry with access to the latest state-of-the-art production technology, enabling independent filmmakers to take advantage of techniques such as blending virtual sets and special effects into live action recordings of films, television shows and commercials in real time.

Boathouse District’s Bar K set to open

Oklahoma City’s Boathouse District will officially welcome its first private development on Feb. 8 with the addition of Bar K. A grand opening celebration will be held, beginning at 9 a.m., with a special Bar K members-only preview held Feb. 4-5.
