Boathouse District’s Bar K set to open

Oklahoma City’s Boathouse District will officially welcome its first private development on Feb. 8 with the addition of Bar K. A grand opening celebration will be held, beginning at 9 a.m., with a special Bar K members-only preview held Feb. 4-5.

Bar K offers membership deal as opening day approaches

Oklahoma City’s newest dog park is offering an exclusive deal for its first members. Bar K, an upcoming dog park, bar and restaurant in the city’s Boathouse District, will open in February and is offering an “Early Dog” membership in anticipation. The “Early Dog” package provides a $50 discount on annual memberships, as well as an additional $25 discount for those registering with more than one dog. Early Dog members will also be invited to take part in an exclusive three-day preview of the Bar K property prior to the public opening.

Thousands parade to RIVERSPORT OKC for Winter Glow

RIVERSPORT OKC’s Winter Glow holiday family experience begins today and continues through December 30. The experience includes opportunities to ski or snowboard on the Ski OKC indoor slope, or to ice skate or curl on RIVERSPORT’s synthetic ice-skating rink. Climbing experiences will also be included, with four covered climbing options available – a cavern wall, leap of faith, adventure climb and speed wall. Visitors can also experience a simulated ice climb, decorated for the holiday season.

RIVERSPORT OKC announces a new hub for cyclists

RIVERSPORT OKC has announced plans for a $1.4 million Oklahoma Trailhead and Bike Park project to coincide with the city’s recent expansion of its trail system. Once completed, cyclists will be able to make a 45-mile loop around Oklahoma City on paved trails, in addition to mountain bike trails and jump lines.
