ICF Super Cup heading to OKC

The International Canoe Federation recently announced the third annual canoe sprint Super Cup will be held in Oklahoma City, and will see Olympic and world champions racing under lights for the first time.

Out-of-state first responders flocking to Riversport Rapids for water rescue training

Since the MAPS 3-backed Riversport Rapids opened in 2016, more than 80 swift-water training and related water-rescue classes have been held at the center, with crews from more than a dozen states and Canada traveling to the city for the emergency preparation. Crews from Arkansas, Texas, Kansas and Missouri have been through classes at the Rapids.
